The Special Investigation Team (SIT), probing the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi, produced three accused—Shilom James, Lokendra Tomar Singh, and Billa Ahirwar—before the court on the evening of July 2, 2025.
Following the hearing, the court remanded Shilom James to 14 days of judicial custody, while Lokendra and Billa were placed under seven-day police custody.
The three were arrested for allegedly attempting to destroy and conceal crucial evidence related to the murder, which has been linked to key suspects including Sonam, Raj Singh Kushwaha, Vishal Singh Chauhan, Akash Rajput, and Anand Kurmi.
According to investigation reports, Shilom James had arranged a hideout for Sonam prior to her escape from Indore to Uttar Pradesh. Billa Ahirwar, a security guard, is believed to have assisted James in disposing of evidence, while Lokendra Tomar Singh is identified as the owner of the property used as the hideout.
