Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma has said efforts are in full swing to find Indore couple Raja and Sonam Raghuvanshi, who went missing on May 23 during their honeymoon in Sohra. Calling the incident “very unfortunate,” he said he is monitoring the case closely, with police, local villagers, and drones involved in the search despite bad weather.

The Union Home Ministry and Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav are in touch with Meghalaya officials. The Raghuvanshi family has announced a ₹5 lakh reward for any leads. The area where the couple’s belongings were found is known for criminal activity.
