Sohra, Meghalaya – [Date of Release] – The Alumni Association of Ramakrishna Mission (RKM) School, Sohra, proudly announces the Closing Ceremony of the Centenary Celebrations of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Sohra, to be held from 12th to 14th September 2025 at the Ashrama Campus, Khliehshnong, Sohra.

The Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama has graciously designated 13th September 2025 (Saturday) as Special Alumni Day, offering a unique platform for ex-students of all RKM Schools in Meghalaya to reunite, share memories, and celebrate the profound legacy of the Mission that has shaped generations.

Programme Highlights for Alumni Day – 13th September 2025:

• 7:00 AM – Centenary Walk
  Gathering Point: Saitsohpen Durbar Hall Compound
  A symbolic walk to the RKM Ashrama Campus, Khliehshnong – a journey of remembrance, fellowship, and gratitude.

• 11:00 AM – Formal Function & Centenary Lecture
  Addresses by dignitaries, alumni reflections, and the Centenary Lecture celebrating 100 years of service to Meghalaya and beyond.

• 1:00 PM – Lunch
  A fellowship meal for all attendees.

• 2:30 PM – Cultural Programme
  Performances by alumni reflecting the cultural heritage and values nurtured during their school years.

The Alumni Association warmly invites all alumni of RKM Schools in Meghalaya, along with their families, to participate in this historic occasion. The event aims to honour the enduring legacy of the Ashrama and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and gratitude among its former students.

The Association also appeals for generous contributions—financial or in-kind—to support the smooth execution of the celebrations.
