The Grand Center for Bhutan and GNH study engaged with key members of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council, including chief executive member Pyniaid Sing Syiem, chairman Lamphrang Blah, executive members Charles Marngar, Fantin J Lakadong and Caress Sohshang to delve into the powers and functions outlined in the sixth schedule of the Indian constitution. In a post meeting statement to the media, Pyniaid Sing Syiem highlighted the Bhutanese delegation inquiry into the KHADC's role, particularly in the context of preserving culture tradition conservation, of land and forests and governance specified in the sixth schedule
